A special thanks to David Conde at La Caixa for assisting us in getting our cash and being such a wonderful "ambassador" for the City of Burgos. It is in the small moments of life that people can make a great impact on the day of others. I know this is true because I know how good I feel when it happens to me. We genuinely appreciate you treating us like guests and not as customers. BBVA and Banco Santander (of which I am a shareholder) could do a much better job caring about people and improving the customer service they didn't care to extend to an albeit small, but potential customer. I can't help but wonder how much more revenue they are foregoing. I recommend La Caixa to everyone needing banking assistance in Burgos. To the other employees at La Caixa that helped us, thank you.
We have checked out of our 4 star hotel and we are now in the 2 star Hostal Happy Carrales. Private room with bath. It is small, yet comfortable. No tub or concierge, but the manager is very nice and has a white cat named Mitsy that Vicky and I enjoy petting.
Here are some more pictures of the city of Burgos.
Loved all the new pics, feel like I'm right there with you, but no sore feet. Lol great talking with you this morning. Be safe. Lov and miss u.
